What do you do with your images?

We have thousands of digital images files hiding away on our storage drives. As enthusiastic amateur photographers we have been looking at how we can display and share our views of the world. One of our choices was to develop this website and share our images digitally, but we also want to explore and embrace alternative methods for display.

We can print our images for hanging on the wall of our home, but wall space is finite and limited. Images can be printed on a variety of substrates including paper, canvas and metal. We can display our images in an exhibition or gallery, and we have been working on an upcoming exhibition. There are also options to print on other objects as well.

We want to look beyond just the traditional framed image and are looking at creating screens and scrolls to display our images.

Images may be collated into a book. We are starting to make handmade art books as a unique way to display our photos. We have more room on our bookshelves than on the wall.

We have found that, like all new undertakings, there is a learning curve and we hope to share some our learnings with you through this page as we move forward with our projects and endeavours.

One day, we may even get time to revisit our old analogue negatives and slides!
